Electrão has launched a project to collect used bulky household appliances from people's homes free of charge. The project started in July 2021 in Lisbon, with the motto “Whether they're in the kitchen or the garage, we'll take them for recycling”.

The project, a pioneer in Europe and Portugal, aims to combat the parallel market and offer citizens a more convenient solution for delivering this type of waste. In 2024 it covered nine municipalities (Almada, Amadora, Lisboa, Mafra, Loures, Moita, Odivelas, Palmela and Seixal).
